TABE
The TABE Test is a computerized test of basic education gained through school. The test consists of reading, math, and language subtests. This test is now available for online registration. Register Here!
When is the TABE test given?
The TABE test is given every Wed at 9:30 a.m and 1:30 p.m. Its given on a walk-in basis. First come, first serve.
How much does it cost?
The TABE test is given free of charge to those with an application on file with the college. Retakes of the TABE are adminstered at a cost of $10.00 per subtest. Those using the TABE for employment there will be a charge of $35.00.
If I don't score high enough, when can I retake it?
You may retest for the TABE every 31 days, at a cost of $10.00 per subtest.
How long does the TABE take?
The TABE test usually takes around 1 1/2 - 3 hours.
Are calculators allowed?
Yes. Calculators are allowed on the applied mathmatics portion of the TABE. The test center will supply you with a calculator upon reaching that subtest.
When will I receive my test results?
You'll receive your test results upon completion of the test. On occassion it may take upwards of 30 minutes before scores for the TABE can be printed due to server congestion.
