College Level Academic Skills Test (CLAST)- Students pursuing an Associate of Arts degree are required to take the CLAST if they are seeking admission to the upper division at a Florida university. Students meeting certain criteria may be exempt from taking the CLAST.

How do I know if I need to take the CLAST?

Students preparing to receive their A.A should come into the Test Center and complete a CLAST registraton form. The Test Center will then assess whether you are CLAST exempt.

How much does the CLAST cost?

There will be no charge to those needing to take the CLAST for the first time. Those students needing to retake the CLAST will be charged $30.00.

How do I become exempt?

To be exempt from CLAST you may provide SAT/ACT scores that meet the minimum score requirement, have at least a 2.5 GPA in certain courses, or by filing a waiver after failing to pass the CLAST four times.

When is the CLAST?

The next test date for the CLAST is February 21, 2009.
