Customer Service Representative-SIMED
Due to recent growth SIMED currently has several positions available in our Gainesville and Ocala offices – both part time and full time! In particular we are recruiting for full and part time operators. These positions have a starting salary of $8-9 depending on experience. Full time positions qualify for our benefits program which includes access to health insurance, life insurance, dental, profit sharing plan, short term medical leave, long term disability, paid time off and more!
The ideal candidate for these positions will have the following qualities:
- A professional speaking voice and demeanor.
- Be polite, respectful and professional when communicating with patients (excellent customer service).
- He or she will be able to operate a multi-line phone system.
- Remain calm and professional during high stress/high call volume times.
- Familiarity and experience with Medical Manager is a plus, but sufficient computer experience can be substituted.

Some of the duties this person will be performing are (but not limited to):
- Primarily answering the multi-line telephone and transferring patients to the appropriate party.
- Navigating through the computer system to answer patient questions such as appointment times, etc…
- Gather and sort incoming faxes and mail.
- Data entry of new patient information into the computer system.

The full time positions hours are Monday – Friday 8:00am – 5:00pm while the part time hours are more flexible.
