Welcome to your first semester in the PTA program at LCCC.  This page will introduce you to the Kinesiology Course PHT 1120 and get you started on your studies.  On this page you will find general information and links to materials used during this course.  You will need to familiarize yourself with the materials and download them for printing, as they are needed for the coursework.

This course will require a great deal of self-study on your part.  You will need to memorize materials on your own.  The staff is here to help and will meet with you or correspond via email any questions or problems you may have.  If you find yourself lost, please act quickly.  It is difficult to catch up.  We strongly urge you to form study groups for learning and practicing the materials in this course!!

Kinesiology is the foundational course that all other courses build upon.  By learning the materials well at this stage, future courses will be much easier.  This course builds on the knowledge you acquired in Anatomy and Physiology classes. I f you feel you need to review that material please do so, we do not re-teach anatomy concepts.
