Students wishing to make their mark on the world can find numerous opportunities through the Landscape Technology program at Lake City Community College.  A career in landscaping offers the opportunity to improve our living environment and get involved in a creative, lucrative business.

The well-known Landscape Technology program offers an Associate in Science Degree which emphasizes design, installation and maintenance.  Students are prepared to accept positions as designers, salespeople, installation and maintenance foreman, and interiorscape specialists.

There is a growing demand for landscape managers at golf courses and resorts as well as with large landscape companies.  Golf Course and resort managers are actively recruiting people with practical landscape experience and technical training to take complete control of landscape departments.  Large landscape companies are recruiting people capable of moving into management positions.  These are little known job markets with excellent career potential.
