The education that is given through Lake City Community College, Forest Operations program is essential to what the student will experience in the forest industry. The Forest Labs that I went through are similar to what forest technicians go through in the field, so when I went to work in the forest industry, I was able to apply the skills I obtained from LCCC.  The instructors of the program were tough…but they provided me with practical hands-on experience in forestry that I needed in order to become successful in my career.
