Registration Information
General Education Diploma (GED) Registration Procedures
The GED test is designed to provide the individual who did not receive a standard high school diploma with an opportunity to earn their high school equivalency diploma.
Cost:
Standard test fee: $50; Cash or money order. NO CHECKS!
Retakes: Writing section: $14; Cash or money order. NO CHECKS!
All other sections: $9 each section; Cash or money order. NO CHECKS!
Registration(First time):
Examinees must arrive 10 minutes prior to the registration time. There will be absolutely NO admittance once the doors have been locked.
Registration lasts approximately 1 ½ - 2 hours.
Examinees must bring a government issued picture ID and proof of a social security number (social security card, W-2 form or pay stub).
Examinees under the age of 18 must have a letter of hardship from their school board district office in order to take the GED test.
All fees must be paid at the time of registration. NO CHECKS!
Registration(Retakes):
Examinees may call to schedule a time to come in any time prior to the registration date to complete their paperwork.
Examinees must bring a government issued picture ID and proof of a social security number (social security card, W-2 form or pay stub).
Registration lasts approximately 30 – 45 minutes.
All fees must be paid at the time of registration. NO CHECKS!
