Application Requirements
For admission into Lake City Community College's (LCCC) EMT-B Program, the applicant must:
1. Apply for admission to LCCC. Applications are available at any LCCC office or may be requested by calling the admissions office at (386) 754-4287.
2. Provide transcipts showing satisfactory test scores, or have successfully completed college level English, and math courses. Appointments to take the CPT through LCCC can be made by calling the test department at (386) 754-4335.

3. Schedule an appointment to meet with the EMS Programs Coordinator by calling (386) 754-4???, ext 1148. Meeting with the programs coordinator provides an opportuntiy to answer questions and give the student a Program Application package. Please bring the following information to your appointment:
- proof of Florida residency
- copies of test scores or college transcript showing completion of required courses
- copies of current EMS related certifications
- proof of health insurance
4. Complete and submit program application package before the first day of class.
A preliminary letter of acceptance will be mailed to the student upon completion of the steps listed above. All students must pass an F.D.L.E. background check and drug screen prior to starting clinical rotations. If there are more applications than available spaces in the EMT-B program, students will be ranked with preference given to those who have satisfactorily completed First Responder to EMT-B Articulation Program and then by GPA.
