Computer Programming and Applications

The need for trained computer programmers and analysts is growing in response to business, government, educational, and scientific organizations' demands for new software applicaiton. Lake Ctiy Community College offers the Associate in Science degree in Computer Programming and Applications to meet the needs of individuals and the demands in the marketplace. The Associate in Science degree in Computer Programming and Applications prepares students for employment in computer programming, computer applications, entry level analysis, and computer sales.

Students must:

  • have a high school diploma or GED certificate.
  • take a placement exam as required by State Board of Eduation Rule.
  • successfully complete any necessary preparatory classes and 16 hours of vocational classes before being admitted to this program.
